The readings for Sunday 4 October 2026

All twelve in full

Aries

Home first, then some play

With the Sun in your seventh house opposing Saturn in your first at 12:29 UTC, someone close may ask for more give than you feel like offering. Saturn is retrograde in your own sign, so the strain is less about them and more about how much weight you are already carrying. Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your eighth house, which puts shared money and old debts back on the table. For most of the day the Moon stays in your fourth house, so the quieter hours at home will do you good. At 22:54 UTC it moves into Leo and your fifth house, where Mars and Jupiter already are. Keep one small plan for something fun before the week starts.

Taurus

Old conversations with a partner

Your ruling planet, Venus, stationed retrograde yesterday in Scorpio and your seventh house, so a partner or close collaborator may bring back something you thought was settled. Listen first, because you do not need a verdict on a Sunday. The Sun in your sixth house opposes Saturn in your twelfth at 12:29 UTC, which can make a pile of chores feel heavier than it is, especially if you slept badly. Through the day the Moon moves through your third house, good for short errands and a phone call to a sibling. At 22:54 UTC it enters Leo and your fourth house, joining Mars and Jupiter there. Finish one practical task early and give the evening to home.

Gemini

Weigh fun against group plans

Mercury, your ruler, sits in Scorpio in your sixth house next to Venus, which turned retrograde there yesterday. Routines and the way you share work with others may need a second look, and a habit you dropped could be worth picking up again. At 12:29 UTC the Sun in your fifth house opposes Saturn in your eleventh, so what you want to do for pleasure may pull against something you promised a friend or a group. For most of the day the Moon is in your second house, drawing your attention to money and the things you own. Tidy one small corner of that, a receipt drawer or a list of subscriptions, before the Moon moves into your third house at 22:54 UTC.

Cancer

Home pulls against work duties

Yesterday's last quarter Moon fell in your own sign, and today the Moon is still in Cancer and your first house, so your moods sit close to the surface and are easy for others to read. At 12:29 UTC the Sun in your fourth house opposes Saturn in your tenth: what home and family need sits squarely across from what work expects of you. You do not have to settle that on a Sunday. Venus stationed retrograde yesterday in your fifth house, and an old romance or an unfinished creative project may come back into view. Give yourself a slow morning and keep one hour free for the people you live with. The Moon enters Leo and your second house at 22:54 UTC.

Leo

A quiet day before the Moon arrives

Mars and Jupiter are both in Leo and your first house, so you have plenty of drive, but the Moon spends nearly all of Sunday in your twelfth house, which favors rest and privacy over performance. It enters Leo at 22:54 UTC. Your ruler, the Sun, is in your third house and opposes Saturn in your ninth at 12:29 UTC, which can turn a light chat into a debate about beliefs or plans for study. Let the other person have the last word this once. Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your fourth house, and an old family matter could need gentle handling. Keep the day small and save your bigger plans for Monday.

Virgo

Sort what is yours and shared

The Sun in your second house opposes Saturn in your eighth at 12:29 UTC, setting your own money and possessions against what you share with someone else. Saturn is retrograde, so this looks more like reviewing an old arrangement than starting a new one. Mercury, your ruler, is in Scorpio in your third house beside Venus, which stationed retrograde there yesterday, and a message you sent earlier may come back for a second reading. Choose your words with care. Through most of the day the Moon is in your eleventh house, so time with a friend or a group suits you. At 22:54 UTC it enters Leo and your twelfth house, a good cue for an early night.

Libra

Holding your ground with others

Your Sun sits opposite Saturn at 12:29 UTC, across your first and seventh houses. Around midday, what you want and what a partner expects may look further apart than usual, and Saturn tends to make that feel heavy rather than dramatic. Venus, your ruler, turned retrograde yesterday in your second house, so a second look at what you spend and what you value is worth taking slowly. The Moon spends most of the day in your tenth house, keeping work on your mind even on a Sunday, then moves into Leo and your eleventh house at 22:54 UTC. One useful step: write down one thing you need from someone close and say it plainly tomorrow.

Scorpio

A quieter look at yourself

Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your own sign, in your first house, and Mercury sits there with her. Attention turns toward how you come across and whether that still matches how you feel, which is a question better answered slowly. At 12:29 UTC the Sun in your twelfth house opposes Saturn in your sixth, so tiredness and a long list of chores may pull against each other around midday. For most of the day the Moon is in your ninth house, which suits reading or a long call with someone far away. It enters Leo and your tenth house at 22:54 UTC, nudging your thoughts toward the working week. Pick one routine task to drop today and leave the gap empty.

Sagittarius

Plans with friends need limits

Jupiter, your ruler, sits in Leo in your ninth house, and tonight at 22:54 UTC the Moon joins that part of your chart, so travel ideas and big plans may start to feel close by bedtime. Before that, the Moon spends the day in your eighth house, which puts shared money and private feelings in front of you. Around 12:29 UTC the Sun in your eleventh house opposes Saturn in your fifth. Group plans and time for your own pleasure may compete, and Saturn asks for a realistic schedule rather than saying yes to everything. Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your twelfth house, a quiet signal to give yourself some unseen time. Keep one evening hour this week entirely to yourself, with no explanation owed.

Capricorn

Work and home ask for balance

At 12:29 UTC the Sun in your tenth house opposes Saturn, your ruler, in your fourth. Work and reputation sit on one side of the chart, home and family on the other, and around midday you may feel both asking for the same hours. Saturn is retrograde, which favors repairing an existing arrangement at home over starting something new. The Moon moves through your seventh house for most of the day, so a partner's mood is easy to read, and it enters Leo and your eighth house at 22:54 UTC. Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your eleventh house, so a friendship may deserve a second, kinder look. Choose one household job that keeps getting postponed and finish it before evening.

Aquarius

Choosing your words with care

Saturn sits in your third house, the area of conversations and errands, and the Sun in your ninth opposes it at 12:29 UTC. A broad idea or a strong belief may run into the plain question of how to say it, or how to fit it into a busy Sunday. It may help to keep messages short and send them a little later than usual. The Moon spends the day in your sixth house, good for ordinary chores, then enters Leo and your seventh house at 22:54 UTC, joining Mars and Jupiter there. Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your tenth house, a good reason to revisit a work goal rather than push it. Tidy one small corner of your routine before tomorrow.

Pisces

A careful look at money

Most of your Sunday the Moon is in your fifth house, which favors play, creative work and time with children or someone you are fond of. At 12:29 UTC the Sun in your eighth house opposes Saturn in your second, where your ruler Neptune also sits. Shared costs and your own sense of what you can afford may not quite match, and Saturn asks for actual figures rather than estimates. At 22:54 UTC the Moon enters Leo and your sixth house, turning thoughts toward the week's tasks. Venus turned retrograde yesterday in your ninth house, which may bring an old travel idea back to mind. Spend ten minutes writing down what you actually owe and are owed, then leave it there.

How this site works

Computed, then written, then checked.

First the engine computes the sky: the position of the Sun, the Moon and every planet to the arc minute, the exact time of each aspect, each sign change, each station and each lunar phase. It uses the Swiss Ephemeris, the same planetary data professional astrology software runs on, and we check it against an independent library and against published eclipse and equinox times.

Then the text is written from those facts and nothing else: which house the Moon crosses when counted from your sign, which planet turns retrograde this week, which aspect becomes exact this afternoon. A language model does the writing. A checker then reads every sentence back against the data and refuses anything it cannot find there, so a reading can say the Moon is in your sixth house only if it actually is.

We think that is the honest way to publish a horoscope: as an interpretation of a sky you can look at yourself. The data is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, and the whole method is written up on the method page.
